Description[]
The Flightmare is a legendary dragon that appears during the appearance of the Aurora Borealis. It gets it's name from seemingly having the ability scare even the most fearsome of Vikings stiff, in reality it is simply a paralytic mist that the dragon produces. Every time it has come to Berk it has attacked the village, this is the result of a territorial response to the river that provides the rare Algae that makes up its diet running into the village.
Appearance[]
The Flightmare is a medium-sized dragon that has a very ghost-like appearance. Its body is covered in small spots that almost resembles the night sky. It glows a neon blue due to the algae that it eats.
Abilities[]
The Flightmare's body glows by eating algae that shines along with the Northern Lights. It stops at a certain swamp to drink the liquid which give's it is's lighting ability. It can strike with a mist that paralyzes its prey to give itself enough time to return and finish it. It's fire is a liquid plasma-like blast that's blue it literally freezes it's prey in its tracks.
